Use this guide to onboard users safely and maintain role hygiene over time.
Step 1: Define Role Model
Before inviting users, map responsibilities to roles:
Owner/Admin: tenant settings and governance.Manager/Developer: project delivery actions.Viewer: read-only collaboration.
Step 2: Invite Users
- Open
Settings -> Team. - Click
Invite Member. - Enter email and assign initial role.
- Send invitation.
Step 3: Verify Access Boundaries
- Confirm each user can open only expected workspaces/projects.
- Validate write access for delivery roles.
- Validate read-only behavior for viewers.
Step 4: Manage Role Changes
When responsibilities change:
- Update role assignment.
- Re-check connector and API access implications.
- Notify affected project owners.
Step 5: Handle Offboarding
- Remove tenant access immediately.
- Revoke associated credentials and tokens.
- Reassign ownership for active automations or connectors.
Step 6: Run Quarterly Access Review
- Remove stale accounts.
- Confirm least-privilege posture.
- Verify ownership of high-impact capabilities.
